Eva Chiu
New York native Eva Chiu received her Bachelor Degree at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her Master Degree in Architecture at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, where she was awarded Alpha Rho
Chi distinction. Her broad work experience includes high-end interior retail and commercial design at Peter Marino Architects, domestic and European commercial and institutional commissions at Richard Meier & Partners, and large-scaled mixed-use developments in Asia for Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (San Francisco). Following a Fulbright Scholarship in Hong Kong, she has taught at the University of California, Berkeley, and currently teaches
at Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Antonio Lao
Venezuela-born Antonio Lao is a licensed, established
Bay Area architect, with a Bachelor and Master Degrees
in Architecture from University of California Berkeley. With over twenty years in practice, Antonio offers formidable design skills, extensive knowledge of the building practice, and a keen eye for detail. With former partner Tim Rempel, Antonio successfully led the design and construction of many high-quality mixed-use and residential projects. His previous associations include Lars Lerup, Holt Hinshaw Pfau Jones, Koetter, Kim & Associates, and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (San Francisco). He has taught at
UC Berkeley, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and currently teaches at Academy of Art University.
